Nagano Prefecture (Otari Village area)
A Nagano-based woodworking studio specializing in pepper and salt mills in an unusually wide range of shapes, sizes, and woods – from classic turned forms to playful silhouettes nicknamed “kokeshi,” “carrot,” “drum,” “UFO,” and “tire.” Many pieces use timber sourced from the Northern Japan Alps region, and some are made from upcycled wood.
