Yuzo Kakee works in stoneware, alternating between ash-glaze (haiyu) finishes and unglazed, high-fired yakishime surfaces. His range runs from wide stone-textured plates and shallow bowls to rice bowls, soba-choko cups, and tea cups – a full table setting built from two contrasting surface treatments.
